Boskovice, 22 January 2020 – Gatema a.s. has completed the biggest acquisition in its history to date and also one of the most important transactions in the field of printed circuit boards in the Czech Republic. It is purchasing the German Kubatronik – Leiterplatten GmbH Company, which is engaged in development and manufacture of prototype and test boards. 

Kubatronik has long been considered a specialist in high-tech manufacture of printed circuit boards. As a result, the company, which was established in 1980, now supplies 75% of its production to the aviation, military, medical technology or telecommunications segments. Clients in its portfolio include for instance Siemens, Rohde & Schwarz, Fraunhofer, Fujitsu or Leica. Gatema has now acquired a ninety per cent share in this company, which has 42 employees and an annual turnover of around 4 million EUR.
